Chapter 5 Reading Questions

1. The rise of digital editing software has blurred the lines between photography and digital simulation. Does this added creative control enforce the idea of photography as fine art? Or do the ethical implications degrade it?
2. If the most successful art is psychologically interactive does actual interactivity disrupt the personal/psychological experience or enhance it?

3. The simulations and virtual reality discussed in the chapter is outdated in terms of modern technology; Artists are now able to produce more accurate, and more outrageous digital representations and more extreme simulations to the point where the viewer us not necessisarily sure whether they are experiencing an artists creation. How do you tink this will affect the perception of digital media as art... if the viewer doesnt know it IS digital art?
